My name is Elena Vasilchikova. My family, my Ridgebacks and I live in the capital of Russia in Moscow. The kennel of Rhodesian Ridgebacks "Podarok iz Africi" that means "The gift from Africa" was registered by FCI in 2001.

After the tragic death of my first dog (it was Rottweiler) I should choose the breed of dog and there were several requirements. First of all a dog should be large breed to stand up for himself and his owner, second it should be short-hair and exotic breed and then in no way it should be dribbling. After my learning the album of dog according to my requirements the choice was not big then Rhodesian Ridgeback attracted my attention. At last it was my choice.

In January of 1999 in my house appeared first little female puppy (1,5 months of old) her name was Holly. When she grew up a little we took part at dog show for the first time in our life. It appeared to be very interesting show where you can look at Ridgebacks so much time you want, to meet new people who is found of this breed of dog, to be worry during expectation of your dog's mark and to learn news in dog's world. Soon we got the first title. It was the Champion of Russia and I began to think about Holly and her family. At that time I took a course of cynology and at the beginning of 2001 I applied all the documentation for the registration of my own kennel. It was done.

In summer of 2003 my dream came true. I was sent a little female puppy (Glenaholm Molao) from the ancient South African kennel of Rhodesian Ridgeback . She came up all my expectations as on the show ring and in breeding. In my breeding I tried to stick to the South African blood lines and use the best breed dog in Russia and foreign countries.
